APRIL 2005 - Eutopia announces strong half-year results
Eutopia is delighted to announce strong half
year (November 2004 - April 2005) results, building on the
excellent performance of the previous 6 months.
Eutopia's turnover increased by 30% on the
previous 6 months, with an almost 40% increase in turnover
on the same period last year. More encouragingly, profits
grew 5-fold on the preceeding 6 months trading - due to
improved trading conditions, a strong performance by Eutopia's
sales team and a restructuring of cost base mid-last year.
On the results, Eutopia's Managing Director,
Craig Coverman, comments:
"We are delighted with this set of half-yearly
results, which reflect not only better market conditions,
but also lots of hard work put in by by the Eutopia teams.
These results will act as a springboard for growth for the
company - with further investments to be made in our people,
systems and profile on the market.
In the meantime, we'd like to thank
all our Clients, Candidates and Contractors for their continued
support and encouragement."
JUNE 2005 - Eutopia 'sponsors' clean water in Uganda
Many villages in Uganda have no access to
clean, purified water - and, sadly, it is little wonder
that almost half of all infant mortality in this country
is caused by drinking 'dirty' water. As part of its continued
'Global Community' initiatives, Eutopia is delighted to
be sponsoring JENGA, a Ugandan-based charity aimed at delivers
help and assistance directly to the people that most need
it.
Our financial assistance is going straight into a number
of water supply projects in the Mbale region, surveying
areas around the most needy villages, laying pipes and establishing
water purification points to ensure the delivery of clean
water to those villages and ultimately saving lives.
See our 'Community'
section for further details and, as ever, do not hesitate
to contact Eutopia's Managing Director if you too would
like to contribute or assist in this worthwhile cause.
DECEMBER 2004 - Eutopia's Global Christmas Initiative
As part of our annual 'Global' initiative,
Eutopia has decided NOT to send its clients and candidates
'Festive Greetings' cards this December! Rather, we will
be emailing our clients and candidates this year and making
a project-based donation to a worthwhile 'global' charity
instead.
Eutopia has selected The Pallisa Childrens
Concern Project (PCCP), a charity in Uganda that cares for
over 250 children, orphaned by War and AIDS. In addition,
it also helps to sponsor a further 300 other children in
respect of their food, healthcare and education.
We have specifically assisted the PCCP by
funding the roof on a new school it was in the process of
building, in fact, the first school in an area where there
are no other secondary schools.
We are delighted to be helping in this way
and would urge others to contribute to this worthwhile venture
too. Further details of this (and pictures) are available
on this web site under our 'Community' section.
In the meantime, may we wish all of you a
happy, healthy and peaceful 'festive' season - and a tremendous
2005.

JANUARY 2004: Eutopia supplies to National Health IT programme
(NpfIT)
Eutopia is proud to announce its involvement
in the National Health Service programme for IT (NPfIT).
This programme is a £2.3bn+ investment in Information
Technology aimed at improving the quality and convenience
of care - by ensuring that those who give and receive care
have the right information at the right time. The programme
itself is split into four key developments:
-
An electronic integrated care records
service including a nationally accessible core data
repository and digital images
-
The provision of facilities for electronic
booking of appointments
-
Electronic transfer of prescriptions
-
An underpinning IT Infrastructure with
sufficient connectivity and broadband capacity to meet
future NHS needs
The UK has been split in to 5 regions (known
as Clusters) comprising London, Eastern, North East, North
West and Southern - and many well known organisations have
won their bids to be selected as suppliers to one or more
of the clusters - as well as for the NHS 'Spine'. Eutopia
is pleased to be supplier of choice to a number of the leading
consortium members and, as such, is in the unique position
to place candidates covering a variety of disciplines -
whether on a permanent or contract basis - across the length
and breadth of the UK.

NOVEMBER 2003: Eutopia Medical Division to supply dentists
to the UK markets
Continuing with the evolution of our Medical
Recruitment Division, Eutopia is pleased to announce its
move to supply overseas dentists to one of the UK's leading
chain of dental practices. Our client provides quality NHS
and private dental care from its large chain of dental and
referral centres. It is looking to expand its UK operations
- however, due to the shortage of dental skills in the UK,
this has been proving problematic. In conjunction with its
current recruitment efforts in the UK, Eutopia has been
selected to run a series of overseas recruitment events,
with a view to importing talented dentists from across Europe.
Further news on this major assignment will follow in further
months, but in the meantime, we wish our Global Sourcing
Team well in its efforts.
JULY 2003: Eutopia wins at the National Business Awards
Following our success in getting to the finals
in year's National Business Awards, Eutopia last night (July
1st) walked away with The Growth Strategy of the Year Award
in the Southern regional finals of the same prestigious
competition.
Eutopia beat off stiff competition to win
the Award before an audience of 200 business leaders and
VIPs attending a glittering ceremony at Brighton's Grand
Hotel.
The Growth Strategy of the Year Award, sponsored
by Microsoft Business Solutions, was awarded to the organisation
that could best demonstrate an organic growth strategy that
had achieved outstanding levels of sales, profit and market
share improvement.
Aruna Carver, Director of Marketing at Microsoft
Business Solutions said: "We are thrilled at the quality
and volume of entrants for our Award. With the business
environment becoming ever tougher, it is rewarding to see
companies placing a high level of importance on entering
these awards.
"Differentiation is a key success factor
for businesses of all sizes, so winning a prestigious National
Business Award really sets a company apart. At Microsoft
Business Solutions we are committed to helping small to
medium sized enterprises achieve differentiation through
connected applications."
The independent judging panel said Eutopia
"had successfully adapted to a difficult market place
by identifying and taking advantage of new markets to meet
urgent UK skills needs, in the medical market in particular.
Their agility in recognising and meeting the needs of new
customers had added considerably to the bottom line and
led to new staff opportunities and jobs."

To cater for the increased demand in our
services out of our Midlands office, Eutopia has moved to

demonstrate strong growth.

Within it, Eutopia has a vast combined expertise
in the global supply of IT professionals - and has developed
a global resource delivery model that is unrivalled. Since
our inception, we have had continual requests from companies
operating in other sectors, outside of technology, asking
if we could deliver this unique approach into their particular
markets.
With this in mind, Eutopia announces the
launch of a new Division, Eutopia Health Professionals,
to focus on the supply of doctors, pharmacists, nurses and
other healthcare professionals onto the European markets.
We are proud to announce that our first major
'health' client is already on board, with the signing of
an exclusive contract to supply over 300 pharmacists during
2003 to this premier community health organisation. This
campaign will involve a major global sourcing exercise which

Further developments are planned within
this arena and for more information, please contact David
Voice at Eutopia.
